The Seaway Winter Food Festival

The team who brought you the successful #SSFF is back with the winter edition set to take place March 2015.

Cornwall, ONT, November 3, 2014: BASTION Hospitality along with the people who brought you the #SSFF are excited to announce the launch of the SEAWAY WINTER FOOD FESTIVAL, a five day celebration of our communities vibrant culinary scene. The #SWFF is founded on the core principle of engaging consumers through a common shared experience. The #SWFF is a collective marketing initiative, held over 5 days from March 3-7 2014, where select restaurants will offer a specially designed 3-course menu for $22 or $28.

With the #SWFF, once again we aim to spotlight our dynamic restaurant scene as well as offer a unique platform to socially engage connected consumers, all under an attractive economical proposition for our community. The low fixed-price menu presents a unique opportunity for YOU to try different local restaurants. If you ever wondered about a restaurant that you thought might be out of your price range, now is your chance to do so all with the security of knowing exactly what you will be spending.

With the #SWFF we hope to attract new consumers, and re-engage establishments with old ones. All the while, building on the success of this past year’s SEAWAY SUMMER FOOD FESTIVAL. The response to the summer edition was phenomenal, and exceeded every expectation we had. This winter we hope to ride that momentum and include more restaurants for our consumers. Some key highlights from our summer’s campaign:

  • Over 2,000 visits to SSFF.CA, and 1,300 unique visitors
  • 10,000 page views
  • Social content has reached 76K users (27% organically)
